Pinus sylvestris 'Jeremy'

Pinus sylvestris 'Jeremy' is an excellent, dwarf Scots pine for the smaller garden. It starts out cushion-shaped and develops into a dense mound that is much wider than high. It grows about 2" (5-6 cm) per year.

The color is dark green and the winter buds are prominent, light brown, and pointed, making this an exceptional addition to the winter garden.

'Jeremy' was discovered as a witches' broom in England about 1973 and introduced in 1982.

This specimen is growing in our garden here near Eatonville. It is about twelve years old.
